P.L.A.Y. Dancing the Seven Senses: Integrated Campaign Design
Original Commissioned Artwork
Commissioned by the nonprofit Moving in the Spirit, I conceived and executed a custom artwork for the dance production P.L.A.Y., Dancing the Seven Senses with a clear campaign strategy in mind. From the outset, I designed the piece to function as the visual foundation for an integrated marketing campaign, ensuring every element could be expanded and adapted into a full suite of collateral—including poster, flyer, custom logo text, T-shirt design, and production program.
Custom Branding Icon
Extracted from the focal point of the commissioned artwork, this standalone icon distills the production’s energy and movement into a clean, versatile mark. Designed for maximum flexibility, it serves as a recognizable visual signature across digital platforms, merchandise, and print collateral while maintaining the integrity of the original art.
Main Event Poster Design
A striking key-art poster that balanced the vibrant concept of “seven senses” with the nonprofit’s established brand palette and typography, creating a centerpiece that immediately communicated the production’s theme while remaining on-brand.
Flyer/Mailer
A polished, multi-page booklet integrating the custom artwork with cast bios, performance notes, and sponsor recognition, creating a memorable keepsake for attendees. These design choices support the organization's goal of connecting with diverse audiences and creating an inclusive atmosphere for the dance performance.
Production Program
The original campaign artwork was re-oriented into a vertical format to establish the foundation for the show program. This layout intentionally left flexible space for the client to insert cast details, performance notes, and sponsor information while remaining fully compliant with Moving in the Spirit’s strict style guide. The result is a polished, on-brand keepsake that maintains visual impact and functional clarity.
Collateral
T-Shirt Design
A wearable version of the artwork, simplified and balanced for DTG and DTF printing, allowing performers, crew, and supporters to showcase the production’s dynamic identity.
